You know, when you think about the size of the Universe, how vast and unexplored it is, it is mind-boggling. How the Earth is so small compared to even our galaxy. There are billions of stars in the Milky Way, billions larger than our Sun, and there are billions and billions more galaxies, each with billions of stars, each star with orbiting planets. And here we are, a tiny planet, suspended in the vast emptiness of space, its rather scary to think about, and extremely lonely. We are it. We don’t know if life exists on other planets, and if there is, we currently have no way to find them or to communicate. It’s just us lonely population of humans living on a tiny rock in a corner of a galaxy. It really makes you see how we are all connected. All we have are each other and our planet. It should be a wake up call for people, that we need to start accepting everyone for who they are, that we shouldn’t judge other people’s beliefs, religion, and culture. That we shouldn’t destroy and pollute our planet, and that we shouldn’t fight wars or kill, because we really only have each other. In the scheme of things, we have a lonely existence. It’s humbling. It’s frightening.
